[edit] Plot

Naruto, Iruka and Pakkun continue their pursuit/fight of/with Mizuki. Fujin & Raijin effortlessly shrug off Naruto's Shadow-Clone attacks even after dozens of punches and still complains about the itching and think about whether they are getting rashes, while Iruka fights Mizuki with kunais. A bunch of clones jump at the brothers from the sky but the larger brother grabs the smaller one and spins him in a circle to ward off the attacks. Iruka asks Mizuki not to betray his comrades in Konoha, with whom he shared with in joy and sadness, but Mizuki replies that he is only interested in the strongest of powers and calls Iruka naive and sees him as a young schoolboy. Mizuki taunts Iruka about the strange thing of friendship, then leaves. Iruka pursues him, and Pakkun urges Naruto to do the same. Naruto is frustrated, but complies, leaving a confused Fujin & Raijin behind.

The brothers decide that this is a game of "tag", and that Naruto has made them "it". Outraged about how he didn't even use Rock-Paper-scissors to decide who is going to be it, they quickly catch up to Naruto and Pakkun, smack Naruto with a body slam from the air, then break for lunch to which the smaller brother complains about the larger one being hopeless and then begging for some. Naruto tries to think of a way to lose them first by throwing a smoke bomb and egging them to catch him.

Iruka pursues Mizuki, but loses track of him in a large grove of bamboo. Mizuki sneak-attacks Iruka with kunai throws, which he dodges, then Mizuki comes out of the ground with a kunai and stabs Iruka, but it's just a replacement jutsu saying that he's pretty good and appears behind Mizuki. Naruto creates a large number of Shadow-Clones of himself and Pakkun, hoping to leave them behind as a diversion. Fujin & Raijin call it a "Super tag", then use their incredible strength to level a huge swath of the forest by slamming their hands into the ground.

Naruto and Pakkun are astonished, and compare the brothers' strength to that of Tsunade. Iruka & Mizuki continue their fight, and Iruka keeps trying to talk sense into Mizuki about why he is so interested in power and how it isn't too late to change back to his old self. Iruka doesn't attack him because Mizuki was once his comrade and was once in his class. Mizuki just laughs at him and takes off again and tells him he'll give him the sensation of being slowly killed by a comrade.

Naruto tries to think of another way to lose Fujin & Raijin while tapping his forehead protector, but it's slow going for the Number One Knuckle-Headed Ninja. The brothers locate their quarry and Naruto decides on a plan. He creates about a dozen Shadow-Clones in a ring around Fujin & Raijin, who respond about whether this is Super Tag again and comment that this is getting boring. He then has the clones run in a circle, making the brothers dizzy who can't keep up with the speed. They fall down saying how dizzy they are. Then the Shadow-Clones grab Fujin & Raijin who swear about dropping their snack while Naruto powers up a Rasengan.

Mizuki tries to sneak-attack Iruka, but Iruka blocks it by sensing a leaf fall. He flashes back to his Academy days with Mizuki and the Third Hokage [SEE: Episode 80]. It was about how Iruka was always lower than Mizuki and we see young Iruka crying in front of the stone memorial and the Third comes along saying that a year of sadness isn't easy to hide. The Third comments on how his teacher said that Iruka was a laughingstock of the class, Iruka says that he is the son of heroes because his mom and dad died for the village. The Third asks him if he has the potential to risk his life for his village. Mizuki watches them from behind a bush and the Third senses him and asks him to come out. Mizuki comes out and tells him that everyone has been worried and asks Iruka to play with him. Iruka relays this to the present Mizuki and screams for him to remember but Mizuki kicks him to the ground.

Naruto prepares to attack with Rasengan, but before he can strike, Fujin accidentally steps on the food he just dropped. Since all they ever think about is food, the brothers are now truly furious with veins bulging on their knuckles and the color of hell on the background. They throw Naruto's own Shadow-Clones at him, and he hits them with Rasengan. The resulting explosion throws Naruto against a tree.

Mizuki continues to taunt and insult Iruka about how he doesn't understand why he was kind to him, using their childhood memories as ammunition. We see one of Iruka playing soccer but they don't invite Mizuki and Mizuki wonders behind the bush why everyone cares for Iruka so much while he is left alone. He scratches the tree which causes the Hokage to find him there. He decides to get the Hokage to like him. They fight some more with Iruka throwing a kunai at Mizuki, who dodges it. Mizuki cuts a sapling and hits a replication Iruka while the real one dodges a hand out of the earth but lands in a pit of sharpened saplings and grazes his shoulder along with his wrist and leaves again but not before Iruka hit Mizuki with another kunai. When Naruto finally wakes up, he is held in Raijin's powerful grip. The brothers have decided to kill Naruto by punching him upward and the two brothers deciding where to hit him, but before they can, something stops them in their tracks. It's Team Asuma (Ino, Shikamaru & Choji), and Shikamaru has just used his Shadow Imitation jutsu on Fujin & Raijin. They say that they are the backup squad for this mission and say they are the ultimate team "Ino Shika Cho." The episode ends.
