The Forest of Bewilderment (Japanese: 当惑の森林, - tōwaku no shinrin) is the episode number 210 of the anime series Naruto, and the second episode of the 9th season.

With the ship split in half, Naruto, Todoroki, and Gantetsu are separated from Sakura, Lee, and the escort group. Now Naruto must face the other three shinobazu that Gantetsu was with. Things aren't looking good for the Naruto and Todoroki when the leader of the shinobazu attempts to kill them.

However, Naruto succeeds in delaying the enemy ninja until the new stream carries them over the edge of a cliff. After barely escaping, Naruto, Todoroki and Gantetsu end up in the "Forest of Bewilderment", where the base of the shinobazu is located. Can Naruto lead them out or will they have to trust Gantetsu to lead the way?

• The snake that obstructs the way of Naruto's three man party is, in reality, not poisonous at all. It is a king snake, often confused with the actually deadly corral snake. As the rhyme says: "Red touches black, (referring to the stripes) venom lack. Red touches yellow, kill a fellow".

• When Todoroki is telling Naruto they should kill Gantetsu before the Shinobazu get him, we see him from behind. If you look at his left side, the sheath for his sword is nowhere to be seen.
