The dark clouds sneak near (Japanese: 忍び寄る暗雲 - Shinobi yoru anun) is episode 155 of the anime series Naruto.
Naruto and Team Gai look down at the village from a cliff and when they see just the villagers, they assume the Kuroski famliy has run off scared. Karashi reveals to the villagers that he never intended to change and just as Naruto and team Gai come down, Karashi signals for the Kuroski family to drop their boulders on them. The plan seems successful and the Kuroski family starts to look for their remains. Naruto and team Gai were never hurt and surprise the Kuroski family. They have a fight, the Kuroski family jump on top of each other and start spinning creating to man-made tornados. The four easily take out the tornadoes and Naruto complains they took out to many enemies because he wanted to fight more. The villagers get mad at Karashi and threaten to beat him to death. Lee comes to his aid taking the blame for encouraging Karashi to become strong. He asks to take the beating. The villagers refuse and Lee threatens Karashi by saying if he betrays the village again, Karashi will suffer from his fists. Karashi and Lee start begging the villagers for forgivness and they agree to forgive.
They return to the shed that Ranmaru was locked in and free him. Ranmaru reveals more of his past:
The villagers were nice to him, every once in a while, one of the farmers would come in and give him a bowl of food. Ramaru eventually realized he had special powers, he could use his eyes to see through things. One day he noticed one of the villagers get cut accidentally by his own knife. That same guy comes in and gives him food. Ranmaru then asks how his cut is doing, when the village asks how he knew, Ranmaru reveals his special vision powers. The villagers reveals this to the rest of the village and everyone gets angry at Ranmaru and starts to throw things at his little house. By then he realied he never wanted to live anymore, but Raiga changed his life.
Neji starts to conclude that combined with Ranmaru's powers, Raiga and he were strong enough to be regonized by the Shinobi Swordsmen. Naruto then says he wants Ranmaru to try some of the Curry of Life to feel better. Naruto places Ranmaru on his back and they walk back to the Curry shop.
Before they leave, Ranmaru requests to see Raiga's body. They go to the cliff and look down to where Raiga's two arms stick out of the rocks and dirt. Neji checks out the body with Byakugan, he sees no chakra flow so he assumes that Raiga is dead. Ranmaru also gets a peak, Ranmaru's eye powers seem to be much stronger then the Byakugan. He looks at Raiga's body and an evil smile goes across his face as he sees chakra flow from Raiga's body. They return to the Curry shop with Karashi. Karashi begs forgiveness from his mother. His mother gives him Curry, but as punishment for what he has done, she made the curry extremely spicy. Naruto sits with Ranmaru to ask him about Kisame. Even though Ranmaru knows who Kisame is, all he knows is that Kisame left the hidden Mist Village. The next morning, Lee and Karashi go traning and Karashi is aready out of energy by the time Lee moves on to the next workout. A storm starts coming so Lee and Naruto start chopping wood to help fortify the shop walls. Neji worries about the fact that Karashi and Ranmaru are in the shop alone and asks Tenten to check up on them. Tenten realizes no one is inside. Next we see Ranmaru on Karashi's back explaining that even though Neji couldn't sense it, he could easily tell Raiga was still alive. Karashi carries him to where Raiga's body is. He then jumps off Karashi's back and struggles to crawl to one of Raiga's arms. He uses his chakra to heal Raiga and revive him. Tenten has now found Karashi and Ranmaru and looks down to notice Raiga's body under the dirt. Lightning flies right past her and hit's Raiga's body reviving him.
