The Button-Toast is a lo-fi band from Paris, TX. Formed in 1992, it recorded three albums: Sky Chief Gasoline 1993; Banana (Unreleased); Codes 1995;

The band resulted in several offshoots, including: Tibanna; Otherwise They Wouldn't; Weadum; Halstead/Hutchins; Mary Lou and the Tards; L'Homme Machine;

The Button-Toast were distributed on Lunar Records and produced by Nigel "The Bone" Perriwinkle.
