From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The "Fragas" of the River Eume National Park is a typical Atlantic Forest [1] extends itself with its unique ecosystem and biodiversity throughout the Eume and Ferrol regions of Ferrolterra; amongst the city councils of Pontedeume, A Capela, Monfero and Cabanas.(Declared National Park in 1997).[2] (Aprox.: 35 square miles)
Note: Within The "Fragas" of the River Eume National Park there is a beautiful Medieval Monastery: Caaveiro. The Monastery (now partly restored to its former glory) and its surrounding area makes a whole of incredible beauty.
