The World's First Perfect Album is the rumored title of the fourth full-length album by Swedish garage rock revivalists The Hives.
Two new songs were played at a recent show in Germany which are rumored to be on this album. They are "Hey Little World", and a second untitled track.
The album is rumored for a 2007 release, although there are no definitive responses to the release date.

Long time nothing written...
The Hives are now stationed in Oxford Mississippi to record a great number of songs that we´ve kept hidden inside of us for way too long now. We feel that the time has come to put them on tape so that we later on can lazer-beam them on cd´s, then i guess it´s up to you peple to participate by running down to your local record store and yell - hand me that god damn new Hives record fast as a shark!!! We will later on tell you people when you can actually do that, we wouldn´t want you to look like idiots storming in if the actual thing was not there yet you know...
