The Williamson Playboys

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Canadian musical comedy duo made up of Canadian Second City improvisers Doug Morency and Paul Bates. They won the 2004 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Comedic Play.

As the Williamson Playboys, Bates and Morency play a father-son cajun music duo who are both over 100 years old, and who claim to have invented every genre of music of the modern era. They tell stories and play songs through their shows, with Bates playing a tuba and Morency (the son) a ukelele.
