The West Tonight is the flagship news programme in the ITV West region. It broadcasts at 6pm every weeknight. Previously known as HTV News and ITV West News, the new name came in when Lisa Aziz returned to ITV West from Sky News, although it had been used during the HTV West days. Like all ITV plc regional news programmes, it uses the generic ITV font and idents.

- 11.10 - 11.15 (During This Morning)
- 13.50 - 13.55 (During ITV Lunchtime News)
- 18.00 - 18.30 (The West Tonight, before ITV Evening News)
- 22.50 - 22.55 (During ITV News at 10.30)
Weekends
The West Today/Tonight also airs regular bulletins throughout the weekend.
