The Weight of the World is the seventh album of thrash metal band Metal Church. It was released through the legendary SPV label.
This album marks the beginning of Metal Church's third line-up (Steve Unger,Jay Reynalds and Ronny Monroe) and the last album Kirk Arrington played in. It is hailed by critics and fans alike as Metal Church's comeback album.
