The War (documentary)

The War is a Ken Burns documentary in production and tentatively set to be released in September 2007. The film focuses on World War II in a "bottom up" fashion through the lenses of four "quintessentially American towns" -- Luverne, Minnesota, Sacramento, California, Mobile, Alabama, and Waterbury, Connecticut.
During Burns's February 20, 2006 visit to St. Paul's School the audience was shown content from the upcoming film. The footage was not into its final stage at the time.
On March 27, 2007, Burns spoke at Brigham Young University and presented parts of the film as well as a song by Norah Jones entitled "American Anthem," which will be included on the film soundtrack.
On March 29, 2007, Mr. Burns spoke at The United States Military Academy and also presented parts of The War along with the song, "American Anthem".
