Mr. Vole was most infamous for his role as the boss of the Fieldmice and Shrews. He would consistently demand respect for the smaller animals. Mother Vole, though deaf, often expressed her opinion.

His mother met her untimely death at the hands of Scarface, while Mr Vole himself lost his life to winter.
