The Very Best of Donovan is a compilation album from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released on April 7, 1998 (Artful 5).

In 1998, Artful Records reissued Donovan's 1990 live album Rising as The Very Best of Donovan. The album cover does not suggest a live recording, nor does it feature a photograph of Donovan when the songs were recorded. Instead it features a photograph of Donovan taken during the mid 1960s when he was still a folk singer.
