The Velvet Hour CD features the song IN THE DEEP from the Paul Haggis film CRASH. Her smoky voice and haunting melodies lead Music Biz magazine to coin the term "torch trip hop" when describing her music. The Velvet Hour includes collaborations with Grammy Award winning producer Larry Klein, (Madeleine Peyroux, Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin) and Grammy Award winning engineer mixer, Thom Russo, (Macy Gray, Juanez), and includes the theme song to the Lion's Gate film, CRASH, as well as songs heard on the WB's "Everwood", the John Cusack produced feature "Never Get Outta The Boat" and Jake 2.0.
