The Urban Hippie is a free magazine, published and distributed in the Commercial Drive area of Vancouver, Canada.

Published "quarterly with the changing seasons, distributed for equinox and solstice, and possibly an extra issue once in a Blue Moon!" The masthead states a current circulation of 2000 copies, which are mostly distributed free to businesses and coffee shops, with subscriptions available.

The magazine is an eclectic mixture of earth wisdom, articles on sustainable consumer choices, and prose, poetry, and upcoming events.

The magazine has morfed into an online magazine. It is now called Re:Connection A grassroots mindset magazine.
