- The Ugly is about a serial killer named Simon (Rotondo), who is locked away in a mental institution. During his time there, he is interviewed by Dr. Karen Scumaker (Hobbs) and his story of child abuse at the hand of his Mother (Ward-Lealand) is told in disturbing flashbacks.
