The Twins are the main characters in The Parent Trap Series. They were played by Hayley Mills In the original and its three sequels and Lindsay Lohan in the remake.

In The Parent Trap the twins are both played by Hayley Mills and are called Susan and Sharon. They meet at camp and are rivals at first but soon discover that they are twins and switch places to reunite their divorced parents.

The Parent Trap II takes place about 20 years after The Parent Trap and follows Susan and Sharon trying to find love.

This film picks up around when The Parent Trap II left off. It introduces the triplets; Megan, Lisa and Jessie who try to get their dad Jeff to ditch his fiancée in return for Susan who is now a decorator.

This takes place about a month after The Parent Trap 3 as Jeff, Susan, Sharon, Megan, Lisa and Jessie go to Hawaïi for the honeymoon.
