[edit] Plot synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The episode begins in a large desert. Doctor Drakken, and his partner Shego infiltrate a hidden military base in the desert, their intentions unknown. Drakken trips an alarm, and Shego has to confront the majority of the base's staff. After Shego easily wins the battle, Drakken tells her that he expects obedience from her. Shego scoffs at him and goes deeper into the base. As she stalks away, Drakken says that if his plan succeeds, he shall have obedience.

Meanwhile, in Middleton, Kim is facing her own challenges. Her twin brothers (the "Tweebs" as Kim calls them) take a picture of Kim while she is cleaning her pores, and post it on the Internet. Kim is horribly embarrassed, and berates the twins. Shortly afterwards, she receives a notice from her technical expert Wade that she has a new mission, an investigation of the facility that Drakken and Shego raided. The next day, while preparing for her mission, Kim confides in her best friend Ron Stoppable about her frustrations with the twins. On her way out to meet her ride, her parents inform her that she will have to babysit the twins while they are at a marriage retreat, and she, with Ron in tow, grudgingly brings them along, and after they accidentally sabotage the plane they are riding to the facility, arrive at their destination to analyze the situation.

The head scientist of the research facility, Dr. Cyrus Bortle, greets her and informs her that Drakken and Shego stole only one thing-a microchip. When Kim asks him for more information about the stolen microchip, Jim and Tim inform her that it is a chip that disables the parts of the brain that govern free will, giving the person who places the chip complete mind control power over the person wearing the chip. After learning that Drakken and Shego are the thieves, Kim investigates the facility, and finds a rare leaf that grows only in one area; under a waterfall in South America. Kim, Ron, and the twins leave for the waterfall, which Kim suspects is Drakken's new hideout. They arrive in the jungle surrounding the waterfall, and Wade informs her that the base is in a cavern behind it. Kim tells the twins, along with Ron, to wait for her return, and begins ascending the rock face next to the waterfall, trying to get into Drakken's lair. Inside, Drakken is making a new chip, while amusing himself by ordering Shego to do several meaningless tasks around the base. Shego mindlessly obeys Drakken, now under the influence of the original chip. Suddenly, Shego points to one of the security feeds from a camera observing the waterfall, and gives Kim away. Drakken begins to panic, but then becomes extremely happy. He picks up the (now complete) second chip, and waits for Kim at the entrance to the cave. When Kim gets there, Drakken plants the chip on her. Kim tries to resist, but fails, becoming Drakken's slave. Meanwhile, Ron and the twins are still waiting for Kim in the jungle. Jim and Tim are getting antsy, and say that they should go make sure Kim's alright. Ron reminds them that Kim told them to wait, and when the twins begin to argue, Kim reappears, dressed like Shego, and bearing the chip on her forehead.

She begins chasing Ron, claiming that Drakken wants her to capture him. The twins temporarily incapacitate her, giving them a chance to flee. The twins and Ron hide in a tree, and begin to come up with a plan. The twins suggest using Ron as bait, while they sneak into the base to get the Kimmunicator (which Drakken took when she climbed into the base), and steal the battery from it, claiming that they need the battery to power a device they came up with called the "Silicon Phase Disruptor" which can disrupt the chip's signal and free Kim. Ron agrees, and comes out of the tree. Kim, who escaped from the twin's trap, captures Ron and takes him to the base. Upon her return, Drakken begins gloating about his success. Meanwhile, Ron's pet naked mole rat Rufus tries to steal the Kimmunicator so he can get the battery for Jim and Tim. But Kim points him out and Drakken takes the Kimmunicator, ordering Kim and Shego to destroy Rufus. Suddenly, Jim and Tim appear inside the base and try to get the Kimmunicator from Drakken. However, they fail, and Drakken orders Kim and Shego to capture them. But Ron distracts them, getting in the way of their attempts to capture the twins, and they pursue him. After briefly running from Drakken's puppets, Ron falls back into the lair's main chamber, and is trapped by Kim and Shego. Just as they are about to destroy him, Jim and Tim yell out, distracting Drakken, Shego, and Kim, and saving Ron and Rufus. Drakken tells them that he is in control here, and they can't do anything about it. But Tim and Jim inform him otherwise, telling him about the Silicon Phase Disruptor. They then put in the Kimmunicator's battery (which they managed to retrieve from Drakken), and provide the Disruptor with power. They fire a blast from the powerful device at Kim and Shego, freeing them. An angered Shego pursues Drakken, while Kim stays behind. She thanks the twins for saving her, and hugs them, which surprises the twins. They then go home and a short time after they arrive back in Middleton, Kim's parents get home. Kim's mother then sees something on the twins heads; the microchips. Kim turns them off with the Disruptor, and the boys begin running around the house. The episode closes out with Kim saying that while she loves the twins, "nothing says bedtime like a little mind control."
