Incidents in Coleraine during the Troubles resulting in two or more fatalities:
1973
- 12 June 1973 - Francis Campbell (70), Dinah Campbell (72), Elizabeth Craigmile (76), Nan Davis (60), Robert Scott (72) and Elizabeth Palmer (60), all Protestant civilians, were killed in a Provisional Irish Republican Army car bomb explosion, Railway Road , Coleraine. Inadequate warning was given.
1975
- 2 October 1975 - Samuel Swanson (28), Mark Dodd (17), Robert Freeman (17) and Aubrey Reid (25), all Protestant members of the Ulster Volunteer Force, were killed by a bomb explosion while travelling in a car, at Farrenlester, near Coleraine.
1992
- 13 November 1992 - The Irish Republican Army (IRA) exploded a large van bomb in the centre of Coleraine, County Londonderry. The bomb caused extensive damage to the commercial heart of the town which resulted in a number of major buildings being demolished. Some other buildings like the Town Hall and the Bank Of Ireland buildings needed major structural work to save them, the Town Hall was reopened August 1995 after the damage repaired and a refurbishment.
