The Trouble with Being Myself is the third studio album by American R&B/soul singer Macy Gray, released in 2003 (see 2003 in music). Despite not being a major success for Gray, it received mostly positive reviews and remains a favorite with many fans. The album features the singles "When I See You", "It Ain't the Money" (featuring Pharoahe Monch), and "She Ain't Right for You". It has since been considered a failure, especially in the UK, where it reached number seventeen after Gray's first two albums reached number three and number one respectively. It also debuted at a dissapointing number forty-four on the Billboard 200, falling to number forty-seven the next week.
