The Tracey Fragments (novel)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tracey Fragments is a 1998 novel and a screenplay by Canadian author Maureen Medved published by House of Anansi Press. The construction of the narrative takes place as a series of vignettes, or the titular "fragments", of scenes from a young girl's life. It is not surprising that Medved is a playwright, and has performed scenes from this book. The novel tells a story of rage, frustration and neglect in Tracey's life, and her search for salvation in the face of tragedy.

The screenplay is currently being produced as a film directed by Bruce McDonald.
