The Tower Yearbook
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Tower yearbook is the offical yearbook of Whitefish Bay High School, which is located in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The first issue of The Tower was put out in 1932. It was a small paper publication, then titled the Criterion. It featured pictures of the new high school building, which was completed in 1932. The first issue also contained short paragraphs about different activities in the school, as well as photographs. In 1938, the student body changed the name of the publication to its present form, The Tower, to reflect the prominent five story tower, which fronts Fairmount Avenue and rises about the surrounding neighborhood. The Tower has had many changes throughout its publication history, but it remains true to its creed even to this day. The 74th issue will be delivered in July of 2007.
