"The Tourist" is a song by Radiohead, from the band's 1997 album OK Computer. It is the closing track. It was written by Jonny Greenwood (although, like all Radiohead songs, it is credited to all equally). He was inspired to write it while sitting in a park in Paris and noticing the busy tourists who did not seem to be enjoying the beautiful area around them. The final note of the song is believed to be the bell noise of a microwave oven[citation needed]. One of the primary reasons many consider OK Computer to be a concept album is the fact that the refrain of The Tourist is "Hey man, slow down" which many believe is related to the opening track Airbag, which narrates a car crash.
