After talking with Kirsten, Theresa decides to keep her baby and Ryan has to make the hardest decision of his life. Meanwhile Seth and Summer have to deal with the backlash of his decision, while protecting Marissa from the truth.
In the world of the adults Julie's puts on her perfect face as the most important day of her life rapidly approaching, a move that has affects on the entire adult population of The OC. Caleb struggles to hold his business together after Sandy destroys a company saving deal. Jimmy and Hailey's budding romance sparks a fire in the eyes of the soon to be Most Powerful Woman in Newport, while Kirsten has to decide if she wants is what's best for her or her dad.
As our first year in Newport draws to a close we are reminded of how family is important no matter what, and that even if you aren't there, you are always with those you love.
