The Tall Men was a western television series that ran from 1960 to 1962 and featured Barry Sullivan as Pat Garrett and newcomer Clu Gulager as Billy the Kid in 75 fictionalized half-hour episodes about the relationship between the famous outlaw and the frontier sheriff who eventually killed him. Unfortunately, no final episode depicting the grim conclusion was filmed.
