The Tax Advisory & Consultancy Services (TACS) Partnership is a provider of taxation services based in Stockport, England.
[edit] History
The TACS Partnership was founded by Stephen Willcox, formerly a leading tax partner in a major international firm of Chartered accountants, in August 1992 and based in the Chestergate area of Stockport. Two years later the firm moved to its current location on Lower Hillgate.
The firm provided advice on all aspects of UK taxation until 2003, when the VAT department of TACS split off to form a separate firm Omnis.
In 2003 TACS began to expand in non-VAT areas and introduced two new partners, both of whom had previously been senior tax managers with a major international firm of Chartered accountants.
