[edit] History
The Steal are made up of ex members of Twofold, Captain Everything! and 10 Second Break as well as solo singer - and former member of Lucky Thirteen - Dave House.
They formed in late 2005 and are strongly (and unashamedly) influenced by the likes of Minor Threat, 7 Seconds and Kid Dynamite. In 2006 they completed a UK tours with American punk bands Set Your Goals and reformed melodic hardcore legends Lifetime. They are currently signed to DIY label Gravity DIP Records, who organise shows at the local music venue The Peel. The Steal's lyrics are based mainly around the punk rock 'scene', friendships and life.
In July 2006 the band recorded a live session for BBC Radio 1's The Lock Up show.
