The SportsBash is a syndicated sports talk radio show that is currently on the air with new host John Seibel and broadcast on ESPN Radio from the ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. The show is heard Monday through Friday from 4pm ET till 7pm ET. As of 2005 the show is heard on over 190 affiliates. [edit] History
The show began airing in June 2003 under its original name, The SportsBrothers, with Erik Kuselias co- hosted with his brother Chris Kuselias, however Chris left the show in early 2005 to seek other opportunities. The show was then renamed The SportsBash with Erik Kuselias with Erik staying on as the lone host.
On January 15, 2007, Erik was replaced on an interim basis by John Seibel when ESPN named Erik the new host of NASCAR Now and so therefore the show was renamed, The SportsBash with John Seibel. Kuselias has stated that he will continue to guest host ESPN Radio shows such as Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd and The Dan Patrick Show.
[edit] Design
The SportsBash is a very fast-paced program that features guests ranging from analysts, writers, columists and even television stars. Weekly guests include Buster Olney, Barry Melrose, Len Pasquarelli and Rick Spielman.
