[edit] History

The show began airing in June 2003 under its original name, The SportsBrothers, with Erik Kuselias co- hosted with his brother Chris Kuselias, however Chris left the show in early 2005 to seek other opportunities. The show was then renamed The SportsBash with Erik Kuselias with Erik staying on as the lone host.

On January 15, 2007, Erik was replaced on an interim basis by John Seibel when ESPN named Erik the new host of NASCAR Now and so therefore the show was renamed, The SportsBash with John Seibel. Kuselias has stated that he will continue to guest host ESPN Radio shows such as Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd and The Dan Patrick Show.

[edit] Design

The SportsBash is a very fast-paced program that features guests ranging from analysts, writers, columists and even television stars. Weekly guests include Buster Olney, Barry Melrose, Len Pasquarelli and Rick Spielman.

  • High Road/ Low Road is the segment when he talks about all the teams or players that are on the high road and the ones that are on the low road.
  • The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a segment at the beginning of the show when Erik runs down all of the good, bad and ugly things in sports for that day.
  • Football Nuggets is a daily segment during the football season when Erik delivers a stat that makes you turn your head.
