The Snoop Sisters

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Snoop Sisters was an American mystery television show that aired on NBC during the 1973-1974 season. The show starred Hollywood film legend Helen Hayes and Mildred Natwick as two elderly sisters who routinely stumbled across mysteries which they solved.

Both Natwick and Hayes were nominated for an Emmy award for their work on the program; Natwick won. Only four 90-minute episodes of the series were ever produced. The series aired on a monthly rotation (referred to as a "wheel") as part of the NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie, trading timeslots with Banacek, Tenafly, and Faraday and Company. Of these series, only Banacek demonstrated any longevity.
