The Skinny Improv, located in Springfield, Missouri, is a dynamic improvisational comedy group that creates scenes and games to entertain and involve audiences. This hip, cutting-edge, and lightning-fast style of improvised sketches, scenes, and music is guaranteed to keep you roaring with laughter and leave you screaming for more.

Founded in 2001, The Skinny Improv, a division of the Upside Down Creative Group, prospers as a comedy training center and performance review. Located in the historic district, The Skinny Improv is known for both performing and teaching short and long-form improvisational theatre.

Current cast members include: Jeff Jenkins, Chad Harris, Joe Swink, Megan Fitzgerald, Jeff Houghton, and Nick Semar. On occasion Chris Sturgeon, and Andrew Beard.

On Friday nights the Upside Down Creative Group and The Skinny Improv host improv sports in which two teams compete head to head and the audiance decides who wins. Current members include: Allen Ansel, Dustin Brown, Daniel Bush, Dan Clair, Eli Cunningham, Adam Hoelscheler, Tim Lee, Brandice Torre, Jared Lee, Mat Boes, and Emily Meyer.

A literary based Improv group ran by Johny Mello Cast includes: Johny Mello, Adam Hoelscher, Daniel Bush, Brandice Torre, Jessica Landis.

A late night interactive improv talk show that features several local celebrities as well as artists. Host: Mystery Jeff Houghton Sidekick: Dan Clair
