The Sketchersons

The Sketchersons are a sketch comedy troupe in Toronto, Ontario. They were nominated for the Best Sketch Troupe Canadian Comedy Award in 2004 and 2005.
They run the weekly Toronto show Sunday Night Live, which is modeled after the Saturday Night Live TV show on NBC. The show began in early 2004 at The Poor Alex Theatre on Brunswick Street at Bloor Street, then moved across Brunswick to The Brunswick House bar after The Poor Alex closed in 2005. As of January 2007, their new home is the Diesel Playhouse (formerly the Tim Sims Playhouse).
Troupe members include Craig Brown, Inessa Frantowski, Dan Galea, Bob Kerr, Gilson Lubin, Nikki Payne, Holly Prazoff, Gary Rideout Jr., Pat Thornton, Fraser Young and Tal Zimerman and recently added video/news guy Jared Sales. Their featured players include Greg Calderone, Jason Derosse, Andy Hull, Matt Karzis, Jen Martinovic and Norm Sousa. The band includes Steve Perzow and Sean Lancaric.
