The Skamaphrodites were a ska band from Burlington, Vermont. They formed at the University of Vermont in the fall of 1996.

The band was formed in the fall of 1996. The band broke up in January 1999 due to an incident involving semi-nude underage girls. The exact circumstances have yet to surface.
