The Sixth Form College, Solihull

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sixth Form College, Solihull is a college for students who want to further their education after the minimum school leaving age of 16. It is situated on the outskirts of Solihull, West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1974 and consists of several large buildings on a single site just outside the town of Solihull in the West Midlands. It describes itself as "an institution that boasts state-of-the-art facilities to aid the highest levels of post-16 education provision", offering courses in all major areas. Due to the nature of the college most students range between the ages of 16 and 19 however, the college does not specify any upper age limit. On average, 940 students progress to university each year, [1] including several to Oxbridge[2]. The current principal is Colleen Chater.
