[edit] Hunting & Fishing
The Silver Dollar area is renowned for many surrounding lakes and rivers that provide an abundance of fish and game. Lakes such as Sturgeon, Lake of Bays, Press, and Pepperbell, are only a few of the popular "hot spots" that outdoors enthusists have enjoyed for decades. The fall bear hunt has increased tremendously due to Ontario's cancellation of the Spring bear Hunt, and the consequent increased Black Bear numbers in Northern Ontario. The Silver Dollar Inn & Campground's facilities and on site services are second to none and provide guests with all the comforts of home while enjoying Northwestern Ontario's beautiful wilderness.
