The Shot Heard 'Round the World is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY. They formed in 2003 and released a 3" demo CD in 2004. In 2006, they released Ten Songs for Town & Country, their first full-length record, to critical appeal. The album was released on the fledgling Mountain Landis Record Label in Oakland, California. The current lineup of the band is:
Alex Farrill - vocals & guitar
Tim Bean - vocals & guitar
Brian House - bass
Rob Christiansen - drums
