[edit] Beau "Nitro" Walker
Nitro is the active adventurous member of "The Shak." He loves anything that goes fast and anything that involves sports or surfing which is his passion. The 18 year old Shakster loves the outdoors even though he is afraid of snakes and heights. Nitro has always lived by this one quote, "Even if you're not good at something, give it a go."
[edit] Jacqueline "Eco" Duncan
Eco is the planet friendly girl, she is all for ANIMALS, ENVIRONMENT AND RECYCLING. She is definitely the most environmental Shakster. Eco wants to save the world saving one tree and plant at a time. Eco who is now 18 grew up on a farm where there were many animals. When Eco was younger she always wanted to be a vet and she still does. On the show Eco love investigating questions about the planet and nature. Her best friend is Picasso and she loves books with facts about animals in them.
[edit] Drew "Curio" Jervis
Curio is the smartest Shakster of them all. He has heaps of knowledge about scientific things, mechanical objects and electrical items. Curio who is 19 has always loved, blowing things up, comics and video games and discovering new things and Picasso but is to shy to admit it. He also loves watching his favourite movies, Star Wars and Sci-fi movies. Curio is not afraid of failure because he knows inside that he can always do it. He mainly wants to do everything with Picasso.

Picasso is the youngest member of “The Shak” being 17. Picasso has amazing art skills, e.g. in an early episode she painted an electricity box with all “The Shak” team on it. When a question gets sent in she creates something to show you how something happens or what it looks like. Her hobbies are painting,shopping and listening to music but she would also like to get into surfing with Nitro’s help. She likes creating her own jewels and clothes.

"The Shak" also known as "Shak", is a local "hangout" in Valemount B.C. Started by Joe G. Kyle W. and Tom G. In april 2002. It is known throught the town to the youth as a safe place to have a few drinks and the cops don't know about it.
