The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is an upcoming film being being produced by Paramount Pictures, written by Richard LaGravenese, produced by Samuel Goldwyn, Jr., directed by Mark Waters, starring Owen Wilson as the titular character.

The film is based on the 1941 short story "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" by James Thurber.
