The Sandman Sleeps

"The Sandman Sleeps" is an episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog focusing mainly on insomnia. It was part of the third season.

[edit] Plot

The Sandman, the King of Sleep cannot sleep for unknown reasons. He finds that Muriel sleeps very well so he steals her sleep. Muriel develops severe insomnia and Courage goes to the Sandman's castle to retrieve her sleep. He fights with the Sandman and finds the Sandman's teddy. The Sandman had lost him and that was the reason he could not sleep. He returns the sleep to Muriel and she and Courage return home.

  • This episode confirms Muriel's talent for sleeping.
  • The beginning to this is similar to that in the McPhearson Phantom episode.
