Terry, Phil, Lindsay and Shane Sanderson have all played both Major and Senior lacrosse in Canada.

  • Phil's son Dustin played minor lacrosse with Brampton. In 2001, Dustin broke his neck during a game, and it was feared that he would never walk again[1], but he has made a remarkable recovery.[citation needed]
  • Phil also has two step-sons, Chris and Ryan Sanderson. Chris was a goaltender for the New Jersey Storm, Philadelphia Wings, and Baltimore Thunder, and Ryan played for the Albany Attack.
  • Terry's son Josh plays for the Toronto Rock, and currently holds the NLL record for assists in a season, with 73.
  • Lindsay has three sons:
    • Brandon has played with the Montreal Express.
    • Phil plays with the Buffalo Bandits.
    • Nathan has never played in the NLL, but has played Junior lacrosse.
