[edit] Plot
When Raven sees other students making fun of an African exchange student named Tendaji, she stands for him and they become friends. From there Tendaji begins to develop a crush on Raven by giving little "gifts" like a feather and a shell. One day a box is delievered to Raven's house with a beautiful dress inside and an invitation to a party. Raven wears the dress and goes to the party, even though her mother forbid her from attending. But what Raven doesn't know is that Tendaji is the prince of the (fictional) African nation of Shakobi and those little gifts were his way of proposing to her. Raven calls off the wedding because she is too young to marry and she and Tendaji remain friends.
Cory hires a photographer for Lionel his rat.
