The Royal Gazette
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Royal Gazette is a newspaper of record on the island nation of Bermuda. Founded in 1828, it is Bermuda's only daily newspaper. Some seriously question the legitimacy and independence of a 'lone' newspaper.
With a daily circulation of 16,000 copies the paper reaches more than 90% of the adult market. The Royal Gazette's sister paper, the Mid-Ocean News, is published on Fridays and focuses more heavily on human interest features, sports, travel and entertainment reports than on the "news" reported in the daily Gazette. The Royal Gazette and Mid-Ocean News are owned by The Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd.
