The Roman Mysteries

The Roman Mysteries books are a series of historical novels for children by Caroline Lawrence. The first book (The Thieves of Ostia) was first published in 2001, and eighteen books are planned. The Roman Mysteries books are historical fiction, with mentions of actual historical figures such as Pliny the Elder. As of June 2006 a television series is being filmed [1].
