The Manchester Ritz is a live music venue in Whitworth Street West in Manchester. It describes itself as one of the great Manchester institutions. It won Manchester's overall Best Bar None And Club winner forr 2006/2007 which is organised by the Greater Manchester Police. It was managed in the 1960s by Jimmy Saville, though it is currently managed by Stuart Green.[1]

The venue is also notable for it's unusual "springy" dancefloor [[2]]
