The Righteous & The Wicked is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from their 1991 album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It is the eighth song on the album and is another song on the album that breaks away from sex and drugs, like "The Power of Equality". It is about the environment and how things like pollution and war are ruining the planet.

It is one of the more slow-paced, subdued funk songs on the album, and the track is notable for featuring a short intro at the end which segues into "Give It Away", the song that follows.

This song also features Flea playing his lines on a 5-string bass.
