The Ranch (band)

The Ranch was a three-member country band that released only one album dubbed The Ranch in 1997. The band was made up by Peter Clarke, Jerry Flowers and the now-famous Keith Urban.

The band consisted of:

Keith Urban- Lead and Background Vocals, Guitars, Ganjo, Keyboards.

Jerry Flowers - Background Vocals, Bass Guitar.

Peter Clarke - Drums, Percussion.

The band recorded only one album, the self-titled release "The Ranch". This album contained the first recording of the song "Some Days You Gotta Dance", made famous by the Dixie Chicks, written by songwriters Marshall Morgan and Troy Johnson.

The band's one and only CD was re-released as "Keith Urban: In The Ranch" on February 10, 2004.
