Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Ryan Atwood's brother Trey Atwood's birthday comes up and the gang decide to throw a party for him at Marissa Cooper's house. The party gets out of control and and Jess Sathers passes out in the pool from a drug overdose. Because the drugs were from Marissa's house, the cops are about the take her into custody, when Trey says he gave the girl the drugs and he is arrested even though he is innocent.
