The Quiet One

The Quiet One is a 1948 American documentary film directed by Sidney Meyers and written by James Agee. It chronicles the rehabilitation of a young, emotionally disturbed African-American boy.

The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Writing Original Screenplay and was named the second best film of 1949 by the National Board of Review.
