The Pulse is a US television show created by Bryan Kent[1][2] (aka Bryan Michael Kent) and Matt Newberg for the once-Adelphia, now Time Warner station in Los Angeles. Showcasing the best that Los Angeles has to offer, ranging from the hidden shops, resaurants & sights to the regualr Angeleno staples, The Pulse is the ultimate guide to Southern California culture. The show premiered in November 2004 and continues to air on TV now in its 3rd season. Past episodes can be viewed online, free of charge, via www.thepulseshow.com. The Pulse can also now be found on iTunes under Podcasts.

In the fall of 2005, Bryan Kent [3] left the show to focus on acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, as well as appearing in Passions on NBC as well as a string of independent films which are geared for late 2006 and 2007 release dates.
In Season Two (2005), up-and-coming singer and songwriter Blake Collins, brother of Dean Collins (Jack & Bobby, Yours, Mine & Ours), invited cameras into his home and recording studio for an episode which included the best of Sawtelle Boulevard in West Los Angeles. Dean was apart of the crew for the first season in 2004.
Throughout 2004, 2005, and 2006 the cast included Chelsea Hamill (daughter of Mark Hamill), Sam Greisman (son of Sally Field) and its co-creators Bryan Kent and Matt Newberg.
Lauren Burnett[4] was a host during Season 1 & 2.
