The Promise, released in 2003 by Chi Rho Wake Forest Christian Male A Cappella Ensemble features many hit Christian songs such as, I am the Way, It Is Well With My Soul, and Benediction. Its title, the Promise is taken from Isaiah 9:6 which says, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
