The Play About the Baby

The Play About the Baby is a play by Edward Albee. It was first performed in 1998 by the Almeida Theatre Company in Malvern, Worcestershire, directed by Howard Davies. The American premiere was off-Broadway in 2001, by Alley Theater at the Century Center for the Performing Arts, directed by David Esbjornson. The play was nominated for the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
