The Plastic Constellations are a Minneapolis-based band. Formed in 1995 when they met as students at Hopkins High School they were known for playing their first shows in 1996 at the well-known First Avenue venue when being just 15. They are known for their rhythmic intensity, anthemic melodies, and playful sense of humor.

The band consists of two guitarists (Aaron Mader and Jeff Allen) who are also on vocals. Often the guitars both play rhythm to form a very dense texture of sound. With a rhythm section of a bassist (Jordan Roske), and a drummer (Matt Scharenbroich).

Aaron Mader is also a member of the Minneapolis hip hop collective Doomtree under the name Lazerbeak.
